I found this book very helpful

My 10 year old grandson has leukemia and is currently hospitalized for it. I used this book to help him visualize his immune system and create a healing experience. I haven't found much out there that is actually written for kids (this book is also a guide for adults), but it's easy to adapt what there is in this book to fit your child's situation with a just a little effort and imagination. I found the examples very encouraging and helpful as well. Following the examples of paintings and drawings found in the book...I think this helped him feel more in control over the disease.

Super book on healing through imagery

I appreciated this book so much that after checking it out from the library I decided to buy it. It describes the ritual process step-by-step, and offers great guided imagery scripts. I believe there is a strong connection between the body and the mind, and this book affirms it.

A great guide to aid the reader in using visualization

I have scanned a friend's copy of this book, and must buy my own. The imagery scripts are detailed, but simple to use on your own with practice. The book contains a comprehensive section on the immune system, which I found very helpful. We all are learning that the mind-body connection is where healing truly takes place. This book helps you find that place within yourself and walks you down a path of self-discovery.
