If you're serious about reversing heart (artery) disease, read Matthias Rath's excellent Why Aminals Don't Get Heart Attacks, but People Do. Short answer: they manufacture Vitamin C in their liver, and we don't. (Except for other high-order primates, and notably guinea pigs, which don't either.) We have to take 5-10 grams per day to make up for our limitation, and a whole lot more when we're sick or poisoned. Rating:
