Amazing book!

I have been a therapeutic foster parent for 7 years. This is one of my favorite books to share with the children who come into my home. The storyline gives children a safe way to explore all the feelings and behaviors they experience. It has also been a wonderful tool for showing the other children in the home how and why some children behave like they do. I highly recommend this book to any parent!

One of a kind

Nancy Clark has provided a wonderful tool for parents and therapists to use with traumatized children. When there has been trauma like abuse and/or neglect in the early years, children need ways to sort out the sometimes frightening emotions they carry inside. The Forever Child really helped my 11 year old understand that he is not the only one who feels the way he does. We can't wait for the rest of the series.
