Some Issues

I received the book in great time; however, I was expecting a new book in great condition. The cover of the book seemed to be sliced and when I looked at the inside cover, there was tape holding it together. Not exactly what I ordered.

A good introduction....

Heasley and Crane offer a fantastic introduction to the topics of gender and sexuality. As a student who has often been intimidated by and frustrated with the accessibility of queer theory, I found this reader to be an excellent starting point. This reader provides critical and classic theoretical pieces in addition to narratives that offer the voices of those living these experiences. It is engaging and insightful. While I would have liked to see a few more revolutionary sections, I think this is a brillant beginning! Thanks!
