Grandmother of 4 really likes this book

I found the information inside this handy book to be both entertaining and informative. It is very well written by this new author and I hope to see more from her. Nutrition is starting to be ignored by families and children are suffering for it. It's time someone took the time and knowledge to put into words how easy and fun it can be to eat healthy and good food without the boredom of "blah" foods. This book flows easily and is very informative. I recommend it to everyone whether you have children or not. We adults need to start eating better too.

A Great resourse for children's nutrition, easy to read!!

I loved Cutting through the Nutritional Jungle!!! It is a great easy read, yet is packed with lots of information. I loved the way....that the Author, Cathy Schmelter uses the planes, trains and automobiles to describe how proteins and carbohydrates work. It's fun and a great way to describe it to your kids and easy for them to understand how nutrition works their bodies! My son is starting to use this book as a reference guide and is really interested in being healthy!
