My Pre-review for an MP3 Sandisk SDMX7-2048 Sansa C250 2 GB MP3 Player

I'm doing a pre-review on this particular MP3 Player. This actually sounds like it may be a good player for me. I was considering getting an iPod Shuffle at first but now I'm changing my mind again. I didn't realize the iPod used Itunes (I'll be a first-time owner of an MP3 Player). So I'm changing my mind and getting this instead. I just want something that's small, can fit into my pocket, and I can see what I'm listening to. I'm sure I'll like this, especially with the amount of songs it can hold. I can't wait to get one! I am just doing this because I have seen other people do pre-reviews on products they've never had before and I'd thought I'd try it. I will do a review again after I get this and let you know what I think of it. I'm also getting this instead of the shuffle because then I can at least have some extra batteries with me and I won't have have to plug it in to the computer all the time like I would have had to with the Shuffle. This'll definetly be better for me.

Great player especially for the price.

I bought this for my wife for christmas. she's not really all that techy but even she can figure out how to put her songs on this one. Works super easy with WMP 11, I like the interface better than that of my iPod.
Build quality is a little cheap but for the money you can't beat it. It also locked up a couple of times and had to be plugged in in order to reset it. I have updated the firmware (highly recommendable) and haven't had a problem since.
For those with charging complaints, the iPod style charger works just fine with the USB cord for this guy.

Nice, but can't decode Unicode

The quality of the sound is good, and the user interface is straightforward. Not come with the interface software you can install on PC for playlist or music management.

The biggest shortcoming is that it can not, as Feb 2007, decode any asian text. So buyer beware.
