worth every penny

I bought this for my 12 year old son, he started to use it without reading the instructions within a few minutes. He is just a regular kid, but the device is so easy to operate he did not need to read the instrcutions. (I told him to read it anyway to get the full benefit of the device) He said it is way better than his friends ipod. I recommend it to everyone.

Great little player

This is a well designed product. I don't use the headphones which came with it, I have a pair of better quality headphones and the sound when playing MP3s is very good, better than the Sony Walkman CD player I used to use to listen to music.

It's very easy to use. I like that you can just drag and drop files onto the Zen without having to install any special software. The controls are also easy to figure out. I previously had a SanDisk mp3 player and it was hard to navigate through the menus because it was never obvious which button you needed to press. Other good features are that it plays the songs in order of file name (unlike the SanDisk I had) and if you power off and power on it will resume where you left off. I like that it uses a standard AAA battery.

I'm in love

This is perfect for my needs. I mostly listen to books on tape downloaded off audible on this, and it will hold a bookmark where I left off even if I listen to something else on the player. It's so great! The battery life is just as advertised, 16+ hours, or a whole book! And it even keeps the bookmark even if you let the battery die. 5 stars all the way!
